Mushroom & shilajit

Private Label Mushroom and Shilajit Supplements

Two of the fastest-moving categories on TikTok Shop, and two where sourcing quality varies wildly. Our mushroom gummies use fruiting-body extract with stated beta-glucan content; every shilajit batch is fulvic-acid standardised and carries a heavy-metals COA.

Mushrooms: the three quality questions

1. Fruiting body or mycelium? Mycelium grown on grain is cheaper and comes with the grain. Fruiting-body extract is what delivers the beta-glucans and what the EU treats as a traditional food rather than a Novel Food. Ours is fruiting body; the spec sheet says so.

2. Extraction. Hot-water extraction pulls beta-glucans; dual (water + alcohol) extraction also pulls triterpenes from reishi. We state the extraction method per ingredient.

3. The number on the label. Beta-glucan percentage is the honest measure. “Polysaccharides 30%” can be mostly starch. Ask any supplier for beta-glucan by the Megazyme method; we report it.

Formats that sell

  • Gummies — the entry product for creators; 80-count pectin, berry flavor masks the mushroom note.
  • Mushroom coffee — the daily-habit product; a tub lasts a month and repeats.
  • Capsules — for the “no sugar, no flavor” buyer; quoted from the catalog.

Shilajit: how to sell it without getting burned

Shilajit is a purified mineral resin from high-altitude rock, and the category has two recurring problems: heavy metals and fake “resin” that is mostly humic filler. Both are solved by two numbers on the COA — lead/arsenic/cadmium/mercury within USP limits, and fulvic-acid percentage matching the spec. We test every batch, and we recommend brands publish the COA on their product page; it is the strongest conversion tool in the category.

Formats. Gummies for the mass market; resin sticks (8 g, strawberry) and honey sticks for the premium and gifting end — the stick format is new in 2026 and has little competition.

Markets. US, Gulf states and South-East Asia. Not the EU (Novel Food). UK on a per-product check.

Claims

Both categories attract disease claims (“cures anxiety”, “boosts testosterone”, “fights cancer” for soursop). We label with structure/function language only — cognitive support, energy support, general wellness — with the FDA disclaimer. Brands that follow the same rule keep their listings; brands that do not get delisted, and the category gets a bad name.

Frequently asked questions

Fruiting body or mycelium?

Fruiting-body extract. It carries the beta-glucans buyers pay for, it is what the “no grain filler” positioning refers to, and it matters legally: in the EU, mushroom mycelium powders are classed as Novel Food while fruiting-body extracts of lion’s mane, reishi and cordyceps are not.

Can shilajit be sold in Europe?

No. Shilajit (mumijo) is treated as a Novel Food in the EU and is not authorised for sale in supplements. We supply shilajit products for the US, Gulf and Asian markets, and for the UK after a per-product check.

Is shilajit tested for heavy metals?

Every batch. Shilajit is a mineral resin and naturally carries trace metals; we source purified resin and release only within USP limits, with lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury on the COA. If a supplier cannot show you this, do not buy their shilajit.

What does “fulvic acid standardised” mean?

Fulvic acid is the marker compound for shilajit quality. Our resin is standardised to a stated fulvic-acid percentage on the spec sheet, so your label claim is verifiable rather than “pure Himalayan” marketing.

Beta-glucan content on mushroom products?

Stated on the spec sheet per extract. Beta-glucan percentage is the honest quality number for mushroom extracts; polysaccharide percentage alone can be inflated by starch.

Mushroom coffee — real coffee?

Yes: instant coffee or cocoa base with lion’s mane and cordyceps extract, mocha and black forest cocoa flavors, 412 g and 264 g tubs.
