How supplement powders and sticks are made

Powders are simple to make and easy to get wrong in the details that customers notice: clumping, a scoop that does not match the serving, a flavor that separates. Here is how the line handles collagen, creatine, electrolytes, mushroom coffee and stick-pack products.

1. Ingredient release and sieving

Each lot is tested on receipt. Hygroscopic powders (electrolytes, collagen) are handled in a humidity-controlled area and sieved to break lumps.

2. Blending

Actives, flavor, sweetener and any anti-caking agent (silica, or a clean-label alternative) are blended for a validated time. Uniformity matters most in electrolyte and multi-ingredient blends where a serving is a few grams from a kilogram batch. Samples from top, middle and bottom of the blender confirm RSD ≤ 5% before filling.

3. Bulk density check

The same net weight can be a full or half-full tub depending on how the powder packs. We measure tapped bulk density on each batch and match tub size so the scoop sits correctly and the label net weight is exact.

4. Filling

  • Tubs (269 g creatine, 412 g mushroom coffee) — auger filler by weight, scoop inserted, induction seal, lid.
  • Pouches (454 g collagen) — stand-up zipper pouch, heat sealed, nitrogen flush optional.
  • Stick packs — single-serve sachets, 3–10 g, for electrolytes, greens, collagen; 30 per box or jar.

5. Shilajit resin and honey sticks

Shilajit is a purified mineral resin, not a powder. It is warmed to flow, blended with honey or flavor for the stick formats, dosed into 8 g sticks, cooled and packed 30 per jar. Fulvic acid content is standardised and stated on the spec sheet. Because shilajit naturally carries trace minerals, heavy-metal testing is done on every batch and reported on the COA. Note: shilajit is not permitted in EU supplements (Novel Food); we supply it for US, UK, Gulf and Asian markets.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the tub look half empty?

Powders settle in transit. We fill by weight, not volume, and choose tub size for the settled volume plus headspace for the scoop. The net weight on the label is what you get.

Unflavored or flavored?

Both. Creatine and collagen sell well unflavored; electrolytes need flavor and sweetener (stevia / monk fruit for sugar-free). Flavor development adds one sample round.

Can you make stick packs?

Yes — single-serve sticks for electrolytes, collagen, greens, and 8 g sticks for shilajit resin and honey blends.

Is shilajit tested for heavy metals?

Every batch. Shilajit is a mineral resin and naturally carries trace metals; we source purified resin and release only within USP limits, with lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury on the COA.
